  I shop at this location on occasion - typically in the evenings. Convenient location, plenty of parking, and reasonable prices. Now perhaps it's the time of day, but I find that this location tends to run out of stock on items on sale very quickly when compared to other locations, but maybe it's just me. Also, there is this lady who is frequently in the area asking for handouts. Generally, I don't mind that but it starts to become a nuisance when it's the same person. Overall, it's a decent outlet.

  Fresh and affordable produces like fruits and vegetables. Staff are awesome, I love their ready made chicken and of course the prices of all of their products.

  Best managed Food Basic in the KW area, and best grocery prices of any grocery stores in the area. Produce is well stocked and maintained, great international food selection. You dont know what you have until you move to a new neighbourhood, and then you miss it.

  My wife and I do a huge amount of our groceries are bought from Food Basics or for that matter Fresco's Food Mart. These are two places that we spend pretty much a hundred percent of our money on groceries at.

  Great spot of groceries. Keeps you in budget, while you can still get fresh produce (likely due to the high turn over rate)... and I love the selection of international foods! Some people say its not clean, however I have never witnessed any actual filth. The reality is that it is a budget grocery store, so the displays are simple, and what is not spent on frills allows for cheaper products.
