My daughter loves visiting Schneider house! The staff are always really welcoming and allow her to freely explore while gently sharing their knowledge. She could spend hours here :)

National historic site. Period dress staff always on hand for tours. Visit the museum and gift shop for unique hand made items. I buy my Christmas ornaments here exclusively.

Historical houses built in the early 1800s (the smaller shed near the entrance was built in the 1810s and the main building in the 1850s), which nicely preserved a household of early Mennonite immigration. The furnitures in the house were mostly original pieces, and the people living in the house were extremely friendly and knowledgable about everything related to the house -- I absolutely enjoyed talking to them. Highly recommended.

    A wonderful example of preservation.

Disappointing. For what they have to show the price of admission should be much cheaper. There is much less to see than you might think after checking their web site.

We were told that today is 'a special' day because the kitchen prepared some samples. Well, there were no samples and the Wash house was closed (there was supposed to be another 'special event' there)

We have visited a lot of historic sites in Ontario. This is the least interesting.

I am perpetually refreshed by their commitment to displaying wonderful works of art. I am a repeat visitor when ever I am in town.
