  Now I'm looking at other reviews. Apparently there were "extra offerings" on Christmas--which is when I stayed! I had NOTHING special offered and was treated like an inconvenience while checking in AND while leaving!

  Not very clean feeling, super out of date rooms, especially for the price... And no free breakfast! I guess when the girl at the counter was trying to get me to leave for a different hotel down the street, she knew what she was talking about.

  After checking in at 11pm and getting a late check-out (2pm), I went to work and returned in the morning to get some much needed sleep. I placed the do not disturb sign on the door and was interrupted not once by housekeeping but twice. I spoke to my coworker who also stayed the night and he had the same experience. Upon checking out we mentioned this to the front desk clerk. My coworker was awarded IHG points meanwhile I was not offered anything despite the inconveniences. It's a shame, because aside from the poor service, the hotel and rooms itself are very nice and much better than previous Holiday Inns I've stayed at across Canada.

  Was here for a hockey tournament. Lobby and restaurant/bar was nice. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were not the best but this isn't a 5 star place either. The decor was recently updated but the bathroom had very old fixtures. We had two double beds and they were decent comfort wise. Our shower lever broke while we were there but the staff fixed it very quickly. There is an indoor pool and hot tub as well as an outdoor pool. We did not use the pool but it looked very clean when we took a look. The workout room was great and clean with complimentary water - 3 treadmills, a bowflex type machine, elliptical, recumbent bike, free weights and even a couple of stability balls. The breakfast bar was pretty standard fare, nothing special, but everything tasted good and fresh. We did not eat any other meals there personally but heard from others in our group that dinner at the restaurant was pretty good. It was a good hotel for the price.

  This is probably the best kept hotel in this area. Service from check in to check out was great! This is definitely our go to spot with any out of town visitors. There are awesome restaurants directly across the street. Quick access to the highway and ample parking available at no extra charge. The rooms are very clean and size is good.

  I was on the third floor, so not the new tower. Room was still really clean, luxurious, and nice. Floors were not carpeted; personal preference but I didn't like that. Bathroom had beautiful lights around the mirrors. Gym was decent for a hotel gym, and pool looked nice although i didn't enter. Food wasn't bad, and drinks were unique! Many "holiday inn" alcohol options that are similar but not the usual set of drinks.
