Desserts and food is delicious but this place is either always out of chicken or their grill is off for cleaning during dinner hours. Today I came in and ordered Chicken ceaser salad .no chicken ,i have asked for strawberry cheese cake that was in display with 10 other cakes.i was told I could not have it as it was not cut yet. I asked for different cake and they couldn't give it to me as it wasn't sliced either. I was told to have chocolate cheese cake or black Forest cake which I don't like. Those were the only ones that were sliced at 6pm. I'm sorry are the costumers suppose to eat stgh that they don't like. So is there a time you allowed to slice a cake? as they have to cut that first slice sometime ! sounds totally ridiculous. Why are the cakes in display if you can't eat them ..and than I was informed to order quickly as the grill was being shut down for cleaning. Meanwhile it takes over an hour to heat the grill back up and the bakery shuts down at 9pm. Does that make sense to clean and turn all these costumers away. This seems to happen quite often and we re at this place at least once a week. Ive been a costumer since day one this place has open, we come for lunches, dinner and desserts. Recently we cannot get the service and food we expect. Sad, now we think it's time to change restaurants. We re not the only ones that feel this way. Last visit it was like 15 guests that got turn around as grill was shut down @7 pm.

I really enjoy their food however I have now gotten a BLT twice there without mayo. The first time shame on me because I didn't ask for it but this time I specifically asked for mayo. Now I'm trapped at my driving school for the next two hours with an incredibly dry BLT. Very disappointing. Other than that though this place is amazing

The people at the service counter were really rude. I would've given it a 2 if it weren't for their baked goods and pastries. There's nothing spectacularly different about their pastries but I love the variety and price. The famous custard tart is $1.25 + tax (and +$0.25 fee if pay by debit). The place only accepts cash or debit right now. There are also outlets along the wall but I wouldn't recommend settling down and doing any work here. It's got a more of a diner feel than coffee shop.

I enjoy the European atmosphere here. The food is delicious and when you walk in your eyes are immediately drawn to a showcase full of decadent pastries, desserts, and baked goods. However, this is the second time I have been and the service wasn’t wonderful. There seems to be a lot of confusion among the staff as to who does what. They also talk back to one another and their machinery seems to always have a glitch. Service is just as important as the food and atmosphere which is why I’m only giving Nova Era three stars today. With a little improvement in customer service I would be happy to give this place 5 stars.
