Some of their pastries are great, some not so much. Deli counter generally a success though. Pretty inconvenient opening times for anyone with a 9-5 work week. Still, come back here fairly regularly for the items we like.

Generally expensive for what you get (now $3 for a really, really basic square Danish...?) Biggest beef: often just too slow. On our last visit one lady covering everything (meat counter, cakes, cash register and coffee shop side). Even when there's two it's slow. She was being run off her feet. We felt terrible for her and we're annoyed at how the owners would allow this. New location coffee shop has all the charm of an airport hanger. All in all, and for the prices they charge, we're not likely to return.

The pastry is still as decadent as ever but the character and feel of the business has suffered in the move from Queen street. Just like every other strip mall business, lacking ambiance. On queen street you felt like you had changed continents and stepped back a century.

I liked their old place on Queen Street more. It's still a very good shop for European food, and I especially like their cookies and cakes, and this new location on Stirling is probably giving them a bit more of a floor space. The missing part for me now is coziness, so I wouldn't consider it as a café place to go, even though they still have tables inside.

A nice little Konditorei for a great coffee and a bite to eat. Wonderful breads and deli meats and a nice selection of coffees and treats. What more could One want? Sometimes a welcoming is nice to hear. Oddly lacking as a European shop so that’s why four stars. Could be a five!
