Finally crescendo was when I went to the triage area to ask chatty nurse with short blond hair how long do we really need to wait. On the hospital website and on the display on entrance it said current wait time of 4hrs. Nurse with short blond hair shrugged her shoulders and started to explain me how er department works and how my mom needs bed. I asked how do you know she needs a bed if a doctor has not even seen her. She started arguing and raising her voice, and she walked away. After I told my mom that no one here seems to know when she will see a doctor, she said take me home, if my time is to die let it be. I did not know what to say. I could not tell her let's wait more because this nurse was not helpful but argumentative.

Literally the worst experience of my life.i am disappointed that I have to give one star because this hospital does not deserve even that. I have never experienced such poor treatment from people who are meant to be healthcare professionals. I was sent here by a physician due to lower right abdominal pain. He gave me a form to take and contacted the hospital staff. I arrived at emergency, waited about an hour to see the first triage nurse, which is not bad. She took my temperature and asked some questions, then sent me back to the waiting room. Another hour later, another nurse comes by to take a blood sample. After she's done, it's another 3.5 hours in the waiting room before being moved to a different waiting room. Another 2.5 hours here. Then I am transferred to a room with a bed. The room is filthy and the bedding has obviously not been changed since the last patient (covered in mud and mystery liquid). I flag a staff member and they change it. After an hour a nurse comes in and gives me a gown. I asked how long until a doctor sees me and she says at most an hour. I wait 3.5 hours and no doctor or even nurse comes by to check on me. I go to speak to the nurse at the desk and she checks her list and informs me that it will be hours until someone sees me because there are many people ahead still. At this point it is very late, I am exhausted, so I tell her I want to be discharged. She acts like I have personally offended her and gives me terrible attitude. She acts as if I had been receiving amazing service and care as opposed to being forgotten in a room. I would literally never come here again as the experience was awful. Terrible hospital, such a low standard of care.

I would have given zero star if it was available. I got to the emergency with acute pains. I was given a room with a bed after waiting 20minutes. I lay tossing over constantly as I was in great unbearable pain. No one came to attend to me. After six hours a nurse practitioner came over( The doctor did not even see me) and said the urine test shows that there's nothing wrong with me, by that time the pain did subside cos it's been nine hours of non stop pain in total that day. I couldn't sleep during these hours cos of the pain. The nurse told me in clear terms that I shouldn't have come to the hospital and that I should not come there next time, though I explained to her it was midnight and no clinic was opened. She then said I should leave immediately. All this she said in a direct arrogant/rude manner. I couldn't go to work cos of the long hours I wasted there, to make it even worse I was rudely and harshly spoken to. The nurse's words hunted me throughout that day.

The worst experience ever!! Came in with a child and waited 12 hours before anyone even touched her. What to say, good use of tax payers money. The nurses didn't even have the nerve to check on her for the entire twelve hours. Way to go!!

I hope others don't have to go,through this but this just shows state of our emergency department. We keep pumping money in it and don't get anything in return. I feel also bad for my mom as they donated money in the past to this place.

While waiting with her I have had time to observe nurses chatting in the triage area while patients waiting to be checked in. Staff with smart phones either in the hand or in their scrubs at work. Who runs this place, really?

I feel really bad that our taxpayers money are being wasted to support systems like this.

Bad bad bad. Drive to toronto and bypass this emergency department. Came in with elderly mom who fell and hit back of her head, blurry vision and nausea and not feeling good. Checked in at 1030am and at that time Talia nurse indicated we need to wait 2 hrs before doctors can see her........well 630pm came and no one saw her and she was still in the front door waiting room. Nobody acknowledged Her or asked How she was doing. After 9hrs of waiting, and all the while people were coming in and taken in by the nurses in to be seen By doc not once anyone asked her how she was doing.

Lab Tech came in and was drawing up blood on 3 patients in the waiting area all while wearing same blue gloves from patient to patient. touching them and all. You get the idea. Spreading infections without even knowing.
